President/CEO Wendell Cornelius Higgs Screen was born Nov 1, 1977. In 1997 he founded Dark Alliance Productions, as a platform for young talented aspiring music artist’s to grow through educational programs and creative recording sessions. In 1998 after winning Best Jazz soloist, he performed with legendary Jazz artists Rufus Reid, Bobby Watson, and Cyrus Chestnut at Universal Studios. He has also performed for Robert Townsend and many political figures. As a graduate of Norfolk State University, he has focused his energy on bringing inspiration by uplifting communities through music. Through his leadership, Dark Alliance Productions has grown to have more educational tools and opportunities for young talented musicians.
